HmongTales: The Little Person In My Room is based on a true story

We have just recently moved into a new house. Within a few days, my brothers and I started encountering unnatural activity and noises around the property. At first, we thought we were hearing things, but we quickly realized something weird and strange was occurring. This is one of the stories from those encounters.

I had just woken up from an afternoon nap and was lying on my bed when I saw my nosey little brother quietly sneaking into my room.

Immediately, I knew he was up to no good and wanted to see what he would do, so I pretended to be asleep. With my eyes squinted, I observed him awkwardly and slowly walking in a sideway motion from the door to where my desk was.

When he got to my desk, he opened the first drawer, and I could hear him searching through it, moving things around. I waited a few seconds before quickly jumping up, pointing my finger at him, and shouting, “What are you doing in my room!?” That’s when I noticed that this thing wasn’t my brother.

What I saw looked like a little person around two to three feet tall with fuzzy black hair. It looked like it was wearing dark clothing. Still, I wasn’t one hundred percent sure as it quickly disintegrated in a circular motion and vanished.

I couldn’t believe what had just happened before my eyes but freaked out even more when I realized that my drawer, the one that it was touching, was still open. I quickly got up and ran out of my room into the living room as fast as possible.

When I think back to this incident, I can’t help but wonder if what I saw was what my parents called the “demon lady” back in Laos and Thailand. Or perhaps it was an entity from another dimension.

What do you think it was?

Whatever it was, it continued to torment me for years, as this was only the beginning of the haunting.
