It was bedtime, and my entire family was getting ready to sleep. I was tired and was looking for a place to crash for the night. I walked into the living room and hoped one of the three couches wasn’t occupied.

When I arrived in the living room, I saw that all three of the couches were occupied by my siblings. I stood there momentarily, trying to figure out where I would sleep for the night. At this point, I only had two options: the kitchen and the basement. I thought, “As long as I’m not sleeping in the basement, I’ll be fine.”

I decided on the kitchen and headed there to see if there was a comfortable place to sleep.

When I got to the kitchen, I noticed that the window drape was moving as if someone was touching it. So I moved in closer to get a better look and was horrified when I saw baby fingers reaching out from behind it.

I immediately screamed with all my might because I knew right away that it wasn’t human. There was this strong feeling that whatever it was wanted to grab onto me and pull me back behind the drape.

Its arm grew longer as it began to reach out to grab me. I was so frightened that I couldn’t move due to the fear. All I could do was watch it inch closer and closer to me.

It finally caught me and started pulling me towards the drape. I again screamed and cried with all my might, hoping my family could hear me.

Luckily, my siblings were disturbed by my scream and rushed to see what was happening.

When they arrived, the baby’s fingers had vanished. So I told them to get my mom from her room immediately.

When my mom came into the kitchen, I was still crying uncontrollably. She asked me what had happened, and I told her what I had seen. She quickly walked to the drape, said a prayer, and commanded, “By the power of her lord to banish the spirit hiding behind it.”

A moment after my mom said those words, the spirit, or whatever it was, crawled out from behind the drape and quickly slithered down into the basement.

I was so terrified by what I saw that I woke up from the dream screaming.
